Tangariro Crossing

Today we have walked the Tongiriro crossing. We had to wake up at 6.30 in the morning to catch the bus that drove us there, but it was absolutely worth it!When we arrived yesterday, it was a terrible weather with rain, wind and fog, but luckily for us we woke up to a fantastic weather today. It was clear blue sky and sunshine all day. The crossing was incredible, different from the norwegian mountains. The trip goes through a volcanic terrain and sceneo from Mordor in Lord of the Rings was recorded in these moutains. It was an amazing trip! It took about 7 hours and it was so nice to just be outside again after too much schoolwork during the last weeks.
