Weekend trip part 1: Cape Reinga & 90 Mile Beach

Snacking snails from the sand with our bus rider

Gymnastics on 90 Mile Beach

When you fall off your board when sledging on sand, you get a taste of the desert

Christian sledging head-first down the sanddunes of 90 Miles Beach

Marte and Mari posing on 90 Mile Beach

The island you can see in the background is called "Hole in a rock" island.

Christian preparing his snail snack

Posing on the sand dunes

All ready for sand sledging

Marte impressing the other tourists with her awesome sledging technique

Huiiii hvor det gaar!

Shit! How do I get off this thing?

The lighthouse at Cape Reinga - almost as fart north as you can get on New Zealand
Just 18039 kms from London.

Behind the stupid tourist you actually see the Tasman Sea and Pacific meet. No kidding!

Being on this beach made me long back to lectures and assigments...NOT!

Life is good.

Two romantic fellas

Smiiiile!

Another Idyllic Picture

WTF is this about?

After a coffee&ice break in the NZ countryside.

Stereotype NZ cultural landscape (with a sheep on two legs)

Marte smiling at Cape Reinga

An Idyllic Picture II

Walking up stairs carved from a huge Kauri tree

I wonder where this stairway takes me?

Coffee!

Another bay & another break & another idyllic picture

Two good friends
