Wellington city!

We have now had two nights in Wellington city. When we arrived yesterday it was stormy and we almost blew away when we got out from our car, but we were lucky today as well because when we woke up this morning we had clear blue skies and sunshine. We arrived Wellington during rush hour, so we got the opportunity to really try out our city driving skills:) We managed pretty well I think, except that the map reader managed to put the map in the wrong direction at first, but the mistake got discovered after driving a while in the wrong direction without getting the map and the road to match at all:) We have stayed at YHA Wellington, which is a really nice hostel, and it lies in down town Wellington. Today we started our day with visiting Te Papa, a giant museum in Wellington, which actually was pretty cool. After that we did some shopping and tooked the cable car up to the botanic gardens. The botanic gardens were really beautiful. After a long day as tourists, we went for a jog up to Mt Victoria. On the top we got a view over the whole city. It was really nice! We are now going out for a drink to check the night life and tomorrow we are taking the ferry over to the South Island! Some picture will come later..
