Trip to Piha and Waitakere ranges

The weather here is still pretty hot, so we decided that the best way to spend the day was on a beach! So on Saturday Christian, me, Ingrid, Marita, Peter, Britt Elin and Jorgen drove out to Piha. Piha is a really nice beach just 40 minutes outside Auckland, but if you forget a map and no one knows exactly how to get there then it takes 1,5 hours:) Waitakere nationalpark is surrounding Piha, so me and Christian decided to go for a walk first before we went to the beach. We figured that 3 hours on the beach was enough, since the sun was incredable strong and we are not exactly very tanned yet after almost 2 months in Norway:)
