Charming koalas in Port Macquire
After spending a night at YHA central in Sydney, we got on the bus at 6am and rolled with it up along the east coast to Port Mcquire.
Once we got there, we headed off to the Koala hospital. Exactly on queue at 3.00pm a nice man arrived to take us around the grounds and show us the koala's. Many koala's are injured in bush fire's and from dog attacks and get brought to this place for some care. It was pretty interesting and a good way to kill a dingy afternoon. The cute koala's were also pretty cool. Just look at this little guy:
Tomorrow we'll probably spend the day on the beach - the hostel we are staying at lend out body boards for free, so we'll just chill out and try to catch (or get caught by) a few waves.
